We’ve taken care in producing an amazing range of drinks for you to enjoy on your visit to the pub. Our very own range of Badger beers are only sold in Hall & Woodhouse pubs, so we can guarantee the very best quality cask ales brewed right in the heart of the Dorset countryside.
Alongside our real ale line up we also have a great selection of lagers and ciders to suit all, together with wines from around the world and an ever increasing range of spirits, particularly local and regional gins.
Badger Beer
It was deep in Dorset’s rolling hills and patchwork fields, in 1777, that local farmer Charles Hall brewed our first beer. A union of the Hall & Woodhouse families soon followed and the story of Badger beer had begun.
To create the distinctive character of our delicious Badger beers, Hall & Woodhouse combine hops and malted barley with pure spring water which has been filtered naturally through the Cretaceous chalk downs of Dorset.
Our comprehensive range of cask beers, all with distinctive characters, is available throughout the year, although our offering does vary seasonally. For something a little bit different, try our range of Badger Beer’s new Keg Ales; Wicked Wyvern IPA and Golden Champion.
